We are all doing our bit and would really appreciate your support too, PLEASE! You can pledge your support for our team by going to their fund raising web site. Please don’t forget to log your details against your donation and tick the box for Gift Aid if your a UK tax payer.

More details
The girls are walking to raise money for the Breast cancer charity, Walkthewalk, along with 15000 others! Almo’s team is made up of 14 lovely ladies, including Christine and Allison from the office. The gruelling training schedule has already begun, with all 14 team members committing to walk the full 26 miles round London by moonlight for this fantastic cause.

The Moonwalk is a 26 mile walking marathon in London, raising funds for break through breast cancer. It’s been going since 1996 when the very first group of 13 women took to the streets of New York and power walked the marathon in decorated bras to raise awareness and money for breast cancer.  What started out as a one-off event has blossomed into a thriving multi-million pound charity which has to date raised in excess of £55 million for vital breast cancer causes.  You can read more about the charity on their web site.

Gruelling training
As part of their on-going training our girls have regular 8-15 mile walks in London just to get the feel of the place, to have a girlie catch-up and a fun day out. They start out chatting and finish up chatting, and don’t stop talking all the way round, nothing new there then!

We hope you are able to lend your support to this momentous challenge and very worthy cause, we will be thrilled if you can help us reach our target. We will of course report back on how the team got on!
